Pipe Creek Mercantile is an upscale, antique, boutique market in Peru, Indiana. 11,000 square feet of some of the most exquisite displays in the vintage world. Our carefully curated team of 50+ vendors chooses every piece for its soul—pieces that carry stories that stretch back through time. The shelves are filled with character, history, and the kind of craftsmanship rarely found today. Upon walking through the doors, it is easy to understand how they were named one of the top 30 antique stores (out of over 900) in Indiana.

At The Trading House Café, the air carries the warmth of a scratch-made comfort kitchen—where Candied Maple Bacon sizzles softly, Gooey Cinnamon Rolls melt into their icing, and freshly ground coffee fills the room with the scent of home. Our ever-changing, seasonal menu is fresh, locally sourced, and rooted in the recipes that have fed our family for decades, straight from the garden and larder. Every dish is inspired by the comfort and creativity that once filled our great-grandmothers’ tables. Our biscuits and gravy are perhaps the most beloved of all—made just as our grandma did, with patience, intention, and the quiet belief that food is one of the simplest ways to care for the people you cherish.  

Pipe Creek Cottage was born as a farmhouse in 1890.  Standing steady against Indiana seasons, the cottage has been lovingly reimagined into a French countryside-inspired cottage wrapped in vintage softness. Its bones still whisper stories of the past, but its rooms now glow with comforting light, curated antiques, cozy textiles, and all the charm of a place built for peaceful connection. It sleeps eight and offers space to gather and quiet spaces to unwind. The centerpiece of the home is the 12-foot handmade harvest table—a long, beautiful stretch of wood that invites crafting afternoons, puzzle nights, board games that turn into belly laughs, and meals shared slowly with the people you love. Around that table, time seems to stretch, and memories are created. Pipe Creek Cottage is more than a place to stay; it’s a place to truly be together.

The Barn, once a working dairy barn, is where our grandpa spent his childhood mornings milking cows before the sun lifted over the field. The milk he gathered was the only milk he ever drank, and those quiet dawn hours—spent with cold pails, soft snorts of cattle, and golden light creeping through the slats—shaped his understanding of what it meant to live close to the land. The same wooden beams that framed generations of labor now frame a breathtaking, upscale retreat lovingly restored to honor his memory. With panoramic 360-degree views of the woods, original timber architecture, and a loft bathed in sunrise and moonbeams. A deep soaking tub, gentle lighting, and soft spaces to gather make The Barn a sanctuary, where guests can feel the gentleness of the past while enjoying the comfort of the present. It is a place where time slows down, memories can settle around you, and peace can embrace you.  

At Pipe Creek, every space we create, every dish we hand craft, and every antique we sell holds a bit of our hearts. This place has been shaped by stories passed down through generations, traditions kept close, and a deep love for the old, the simple, and the beautiful.
